Ronan and Erwan wanted to design a versatile, simple outdoor furniture series that could fit into almost any outdoor setting, ranging from restaurants, gardens, terraces, and balconies. The table’s graphic, linear design is both subtly stylish and highly practical, with a solid steel construction allowing for long-lasting durability and strength. Whether utilised alone with a set of dining chairs, or in groups to create a large outdoor dining space, the HAY Palissade Table is a timeless addition to an outdoor environment.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Breton-born brothers, are the stars of European design and the most promising industrial designers to have emerged from France since Philippe Starck in the 1980s.
A combination of romanticism and functionality runs throughout both brothers’ work. Like all truly talented designers, the Bouroullecs have defined a distinctive visual style, which Jasper Morrison (one of the designers they most admire) described as “thoughtful and disciplined, with a real spirit and poetry”.
