The pendant takes great influence from the painter Caravaggio as the light is characterised by direct glow without a glare due to the depth of the shade. A concentrated light is emitted downwards from the light and the suspension and cord are illuminated through a hole in the top of the lamp. The light boasts a soft and feminine form that is counterbalanced by the masculinity from the lamps drawn steel construction that is coated in a smooth high gloss paint. Launched in 2005, the Caravaggio Pendant light has achieved a design icon status and is ideal for interior design in cafes, restaurants, retail shops and private homes.
