Ideal for its intended use for making coffee or alternatively use for a serving jug by removing the plunger.
The design is made by pouring clay mass into a mould, allowing to dry, hand processed and finally burned. The jug is glazed on the inside and the raw stone kept to the outside.
Mette Duedahl is a Danish designer who graduated in 2011 from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Center for Glass and Ceramics, Bornholm.
Her work has been used as part of exhibitions and is inspired by everyday life and needs. The aim of her work is to design innovative and honest objects where high-use value is combined with a simple aesthetic.
