Part of the Crosscut collection, this is a cleverly conceived design that situates the mirror firmly in place in a pre-cut section of steel. Held in place by friction alone, the mirror is secured with two rubber pads. It is practical enough to work in a hallway and elegant enough for a bathroom or bedroom.
After meeting whilst studying Design Products at the Royal College of Art in 2008, Jochem Faudet and Jon Harrison now share a studio in East London. After several years of successful collaborations in 2011, they decided to form the partnership ‘Faudet-Harrison’.
Working on a cross section of product, furniture, interior and exhibition design they have already built up an extensive client list including, SCP, Thorsten Van Elten, Dunne and Raby, Habitat, Made and The Design Museum. The duo have now designed a range of upholstery, furniture lighting and accessories for SCP.
