The Eames House Whale is a replica of a whale produced by an anonymous Native American folk artist collected during the pairs travels, and is crafted from alder wood and finished with a hand-painted decor. The completed object sits at an impressive 70cm long and is 14cm tall. The original was over 2 metres long, and was a popular mainstay of the Eameses’ own home office, and featured alongside their famous collection of esoteric and unusual items in a number of iconic photoshoots.
