John Pawson is one of the most influential British designers of his generation.
Born in Halifax in 1949, Pawson’s work as an architect can be seen in cities across the world, with his celebrated form of ‘warm minimalism’ used by clients such as Calvin Klein, the Design Museum and the Botanic Gardens. Pawson was awarded a CBE in 2019 for services to architecture and design.
