With no apparent front or back, Woody shelves work just as well as free-standing shelves as they do as a bookcase against a wall. Nothing in the construction of Woody Shelves is hidden, all joints are visible and all parts are industrially manufactured. The frame is made from incredibly strong solid oak which ages gracefully and makes Woody extremely stable when compared to other shelving systems of the same type.
