Winner of the MoMa Design Award in 1969, the Knoll Tulip Armchair designed by Eero Saarinen in 1957, is a modern design icon. Ergonomic in form, a moulded Fiberglass shell with a white Rislan-coated finish supports the body’s natural shape with expertise. The armchair works equally well as a dining or occasional chair, making a statement in any situation it is placed in. The armchair sports a seat cushion, upholstered in Knoll West light grey fabric, a hardwearing yet beautifully textured fabric ideal for high-capacity use.
A fully upholstered armchair also features in the Saarinen collection, whilst fully upholstered and partly upholstered chairs without armrests are also available.
