Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi have created, in the Nomad, a highly versatile floor lamp. Unconventional in its design, it is meant to be placed horizontally on a flat surface ( a floor, staircase or terrace), with a silicone handle at the top allowing it to be picked up and easily moved. The soft curves of the lamp express the ideas of physical forces of pushing and pulling that inspire GamFratesi’s work. The Fritz Hansen Suspence Nomad Floor Lamp is available with either a grey or red cord.

GamFratesi Studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is based in Copenhagen, though Gam and Fratesi are continuously traveling between Italy and Denmark for development and research of new projects.
Gamfratesi won the Young Designer Talent of the Year at the Elle Decoration International Design Awards 2013.
