Designed for Skagerak by Romanian-Norwegian duo NoiDoi, the Pulse daybed is typically Scandinavian in design, exuding elegance through simplicity. Using an honest solid oak frame, the daybed is ideal for a new kind of flexible living environment, where relaxing in comfort and adaption to different environments are of equal interest. In a world increasingly concerned with our environmental impact, the Pulse also addresses these concerns by utilising a Kvadrat recycled Woolen fabric to upholster a minimal yet inviting mattress. An inbuilt magazine holder allows the user convenient access to reading material, whilst the covering hatch can be used independently as a serving tray. Create a relaxing yet adaptable focal point for your chosen space.

NoiDoi is a design studio founded by Kathrine Lønstad and Cosmin Cioroiu. The two of them met during their studies at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design in Copenhagen. Coming from different countries, the studio represents a mix of cultural experiences and competences creating a dynamic team. The design studio works within the field of product design with a variety of different products and target groups. Despite the scale of a project, NoiDoi is always emphasising on usability, detailing and the craftsmanship when designing.
“We strive to appeal to the senses by highlighting the materiality and craftsmanship in our designs. We aim to increase the life span of products, by creating a long-term personal attachment towards objects.”
