Nielsen designed his first bin in 1939, for use in his wife’s salon, and the rest is history. Now occupying a place in MOMA’s permanent collection, the Vipp Pedal Bin has set the agenda for bin design ever since. In placing a focus on function ahead of form, Nielsen created a truly iconic piece of design.
This edition of the Vipp Pedal Bin is available in a series of classic, simple colourways, and adopts a short form, making it well-suited to spaces such as bathrooms. The VIPP14 features a powder-coated finish, has an 8-litre capacity, and features a removable inner bin, a lid that provides air-tight closure, and a smooth closing system. Larger Vipp pedal bins are available to suit all manner of needs.
