A look back at 2021
As we reflect on this past year, we’re choosing to focus on the positives. We hope you’ll join us as we reminisce on 2021 and finish our year on an uplifting note.
2021 has been another challenging but ultimately rewarding year here at Nest, with some truly positive moments for us to reflect on. We’ve welcomed several lovely new team members, had exciting business updates and as always, we’ve enjoyed sharing the latest in design with our wonderful customers.
We always try to highlight moments of joy here at Nest and as we welcome in a new year, we’ve chosen to review 2021 with a focus on the positives.
Nest x Park Hill
We were very excited to announce earlier this year that the Nest showroom is relocating to the iconic Park Hill in Sheffield. With work expected to complete in Spring 2022, the new showroom will be open by appointment for residential interior designers, contractors, and members of the public; housing fresh and iconic designs from a network of suppliers from all over the world.
At the heart of Europe’s largest Grade II listed development, the Scottish Queen is a landmark building that once housed one of the four original on-site pubs at Park Hill. The space spans an impressive 3,500 sq. ft and includes a basement and terraces to both sides. Its breath-taking views over the city make it an ideal location for dedicated Nest events and photoshoots, and the building itself perfectly encapsulates Sheffield’s industrial heritage. We can’t wait to welcome you soon!
Better together
If there’s anything that stood out to us as a team this year, it’s the relationships (both new and cherished) that we’ve strengthened in 2021. Amongst some of the most challenging times we’ve faced as a business – customers, friends, colleagues, and collaborators have all been there to surprise us with their generosity and bring a smile to our face.
We were so happy to partner with book publisher Thames & Hudson to bring you an amazing Instagram giveaway in November and have been delighted to work alongside furniture delivery specialists Atlas of London to provide a new white-glove UK delivery service for our customers.

Inside your homes
It’s been a pleasure to be (virtually) invited inside so many beautiful interiors in 2021. Proving how timeless design can work in real homes and lives, it’s always so inspiring to see the images you send to us over email and on social media.
This year, we’ve taken a closer look inside beautiful interiors from Lisa Mistry of @loft208, Justin Coakley and Nest’s very own Ecommerce editor Adam, just to name a few. If you’d like to share your own interior with us – tag us on Instagram @nest_co_uk.
The latest in design
2021 has been a great year for contemporary design, with new product releases including the Gubi MR01 lounge chair and The Muse portable table lamp, a collaboration between British lighting brand Tala and Farrow & Ball.
From Form & Refine to USM – the Nest family also grew with over 15 new brands added to our collection in 2021. Committed to bringing you the best in classic and contemporary design, we’ve already got some exciting new additions on the cards for 2022 too. Watch this space…
