Your homes this festive season
This festive season looks very different from what many of us imagined, but if anything has remained constant this year, it’s home.
Join us to take one last trip inside your homes for 2020, this time with a festive twist.
2020 has been a year we’ve all tried to find delight in the little things. A warm drink after a cold walk, snuggling up on the sofa under a cosy blanket or a tasty homecooked meal - and this festive season is no different.
We caught up with some of the lovely people we’ve collaborated with this year, to see how they’ve been finding joy in their interiors over the festive season.

“More than ever, this year Christmas will be spent having quality time with close family. I plan to put down the phone and focus on creating memories and evenings filled with laughter.”

“Although most people, including myself, love bright summer days there is nothing more comforting than cosying up on the sofa and looking out of the window at the chilly winter season. Being a Muslim I don’t actually celebrate Christmas, but my husband’s family do and some of my fondest memories have been made during this time. Although this year the family can’t all get together, we are enjoying spending quality time with our baby boy.
I love this time of the year; we enjoy icy walks in local woodland where I can forage some wintery foliage for a minimal touch to my living and dining room. We’ve recently updated to a larger modular sofa where we will be spending most of the winter together and of course consume copious cups of warming tea.”

“For me, Christmas is a time to draw into the home and enjoy a bit of extra comfort in life — taking it easy while breaking away from the need to be productive, indulging in some sweets and comfort foods, and just enjoying moments with family. I always look forward to little traditions or coming up with new ones to share — like lighting the Advent candle each week.
I know this year will look different in so many ways for almost everyone, but we’re making the best of it and finding happiness in the simplicity of being cosy and relaxed at home. I usually don’t decorate a whole lot for Christmas, but with this year being so different, it’s felt nice to have some festive holiday cheer in our flat thanks to the Christmas tree — I think that’s now a tradition we’ll keep for all the Christmases to come.”
In a year where home has been more important than ever, we’re so grateful to have been invited inside so many of your homes (virtually of course).
