Lighting, light bulbs and plugs
Light bulbs - a lot of products come with light bulbs but check the product page to be sure.
Voltage - The standard voltage in South Korea is 220 Volts. The standard in Europe is 220 Volts and in the UK it is 230 Volts. This means that lighting from Nest will work as expected the vast majority of the time.
Plugs - The standard plug types in South Korea are type F and C. This means that nearly all of our products are compatible with South Korean fittings.

Please be aware that South Korean customs have specific requirements in regard to the amount of lighting you can import on one order.

What is a PCCC?
In order to ensure a smooth and trouble-free clearance of your personal goods through Korean Customs, we require you PCCC number before we ship your order.
The Korean Customs Service require your Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC). This will be required instead of a Resident Registration Number (RRN) when making customs declarations in respect of shipments of personal goods to and from Korea. The Korean government introduced this in order to protect personal information.
The PCCC comprises 12 digits starting with the alphabet letter P (e.g.P123123123123) and is issued by the KCS to those planning to ship personal goods into or out of Korea.
Korean citizens can generate a PCCC almost instantaneously via the designated website (https://www.customs.go.kr/kcs/main.do) by quoting details of his/her Accredited Certificate (Please note -this is viewable in the Korean language only). Alternatively, a PCCC number can be obtained within one to two business days by sending an email or fax to the Main Customs Office of the Administrative District listed on the designated website.
Importing and tax
Nest.co.uk is a UK company, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. We offer a range of currencies on our website but when you buy from us (even when in a non-sterling currency) you’ll always be buying through our UK website.
From 1st January 2021, the UK is no longer part of the EU and all international deliveries will be subject to customs duties, VAT, fees and taxes particular to your country. Please see our delivery page for more information.
Unfortunately, as the UK is no longer part of the EU, the EU FTA (Free Trade Agreement) no longer applies to South Korean orders. We recommend speaking with your local customs office for more information.

Delivery
Track your order - we want to ensure that you are kept up to date on your order, so we will always contact you with information and updates about your order.
If you order an item that is not in stock, our Customer Care Team will aim to update you via email approximately 10 days after your purchase date.
Once your item is in stock and your order is complete, we aim to dispatch this within 48 hours.
Small / Medium Items - Smaller items will be sent to you via the courier TNT or Fedex which takes 4-10 days to reach you depending on where you are in the world. This is a fully trackable service that also includes full insurance against damage or loss. In-stock items will typically be dispatched within 48 hours of your purchase (applies to goods ordered on working days before 14:00 GMT).
Larger Items - Our standard shipping for oversized goods is by sea freight and by this method, your order will arrive with you within 4-6 weeks after being dispatched from us. Full insurance against damage or loss is included however with this method of shipping, tracking is not available.
Please note: Delivery times do not include the time it takes for your order to be made.
Delivery prices – delivery is charged by volume weight and destination. We keep our shipping prices as competitive and low as possible.
Please be aware if we are unable to ship all the items on your order due to the South Korean Customs Regulations on lighting we will contact you and inform you of this. This may lead to extra shipping costs if we have to split your order.
Delivery times - how long your products take to arrive depends on the product you are buying and your destination. Make sure you check the lead time on the product before purchasing so you know how long it will take to get to you. You can find this above the ‘Add to basket’ button on a product page.
