Designed in 1947 by George Nelson, produced by Herman Miller, and now available from HAY, the Bubble Lamp is an iconic piece of lighting design with a rich history.
Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, all Bubble Lamps have been produced in the same American factory since their original release in 1952. Each model has a steel-wire skeleton that is spray-coated with a translucent plastic polymer, creating a distinctive glow.
In honour of HAY’s partnership with Herman Miller, HAY is now the European distributor of George Nelson’s Bubble Lamps.
