The word ‘Foku’ is taken from the word fork in Japanese, and is a reference to the traditional rake tools that have been used in Zen gardens for centuries. Several layers of carefully chosen foam are combined to bring a highly comfortable seating experience, with the resulting piece being one which is highly sculptural and voluminous in shape.
Several Foku Chairs can be combined together to create a larger sofa using the included metal brackets, which can be effortlessly mounted underneath with a small screw. This version of the chair is upholstered in an off-white bouclé, while an outdoor-friendly version is also available.
