Defined by a harmonious union of diverse shapes and materials, the multi-layered coffee table can act as a stunning, central statement in a living area. The overlapping rounded shapes create a table of various dimensions and tiers, with each section able to serve a different purpose and experience.
Crafted from brass, marble and steel with a black ash tabletop, the JH25 can sit elegantly in front of a sofa or lounge chair, with the unique mix of materials creating a unified embodiment of contemporary design.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
