Defined by the unification of a slender steel base and rounded, sleek tabletops, the striking form can work as a desk in an office or bedroom, or a console table in a living area or hallway. The double level is both practical and stylish, allowing for an elegant display of accessories and lights, as well as providing an organised set-up for a working environment.
An eclectic mix of luxurious materials and colours, the JH9 embodies a stunning contemporary design, both understated and eye-catching.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
