Designed by Richard Sapper, the Tizio LED is a stunning addition to Artemide's lighting range. Its counterbalanced, adjustable arm and head allows you to position the lamp however you choose, enabling light to be cast over areas which require it. Whether used for task lighting, or as a bedside lamp, the Tizio is the perfect addition for those seeking a contemporary aesthetic without comprimising on build quality and technological ingenuity.
Richard Sapper was born in Munich in 1932 where he studied philosophy, graphics, engineering and economics. From 1956 to 1958 he worked in the Mercedes Benz project department. In 1958 went to Milan and worked for Gio Ponti and later for Rinascente.
