Inspired by a field trip to traditional Japanese Washi papermakers, the Hashira collection showcases a balance of simplicity and elegant aesthetics, all encapsulated in streamlined, rounded forms. The Hashira Linear Pendant Lamp brings a fresh take to the popular lighting collection with its horizontal, suspended orientation, creating the illusion of an aerial, floating glow.
The hand-made linen shade offers a gentle, diffused light which is suitable for ambient, accent, as well as task lighting making the lamp ideal for placement in hallways, over dining tables or desks. A replaceable LED tube allows you to choose the right intensity and warmth for your setting.
Norm Architects was founded in Copenhagen in 2008 by Danish designers Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Ronn (who have since been joined by Linda Korndal). Based in the centre of Copenhagen, Norm Architects work covers multiple disciplines including industrial design, residential architecture, commercial interiors and art direction.
The studio has designed a wide range of interior products for some of Scandinavian designs leading brands including designer lighting for &Tradition and modern furniture and home accessories for Audo Copenhagen.
