In the Embrace outdoor series, Austrian design collective EOOS has created a new typology of outdoor furniture, drawing on their existing collection of indoor furnishings for inspiration. Established in Vienna in 1995, this Austrian design collaborative study historical roots in a contemporary context using a unique process called Poetical Analysis to create works. Their method focuses on myths, rituals and intuitive expressions, to create connections that extend beyond initial perceptions. Consisting of Martin Bergmann, Gernot Bohmann, and Harald Gründl, EOOS has worked with well-known brands such as Carl Hansen and have won over 130 international awards.
