Using the same design language as the E15 CH04 Houdini Dining Chair, designer Stefan Diez has drawn an explicit link between the two collections in the E15 EC03 Eugene Lounge Chair. The abstract organic form and construction calls to mind the dining chair design, with the proportions tweaked to enhance comfort when used as a lounge chair. The high back, wide shell and sloped legs allow you to sink into the chair, curling up with a book or a mug of coffee.
Munich based German industrial designer Stefan Diez founded his studio in 2003. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Stuttgart, his products have received international acclaim, including winning the iF Gold Award and Red Dot design award. Diez takes a future facing approach to design, advocating that design should be about creating durable quality products for generations to come.
