The casing is made of three firmly bonded components of folded sheet aluminium.
The surface of the E15 Seam One light is powder-coated and available in classic white finish. Incandescent lamps (max 100 W) can be used. It is not fitted with a dimmer. A diffuser set above the bulb ensures an even spread of light.

British designer Mark Holmes studied at the Slade School of Art, London. He opened his first showroom at the Oxo Tower, London in 1997 and established his name by exhibiting at trade fairs such as 100% Design and SaloneSatellite in Milan.
A collaboration with fellow artist and designer Sebastian Wrong resulted in the 2003 formation of "The Lane" - a creative group which has already worked on projects for the Stella McCartney outlets in London, Paris, Korea and The Laban Centre in London.
