In creating the E15 TA24 Ashida table, Philipp Mainzer was inspired by the beauty of minimalist Japanese carpentry. The table blends form with function to create a striking and iconic piece of furniture that shines a spotlight on the innate properties of oak. The care taken to balance the table’s proportions further enhances its aesthetic qualities, adding a unique touch to your living and work spaces. Also available in walnut.
Born in Mainz, Germany, Philipp Mainzer studied Product Design at Central Saint Martins College and Architecture at the Architectural Association in London.
During this time he established the furniture company e15 together with Florian Asche. Following several interior and furniture projects in England and Germany he moved to New York where he works as an architect and serves as creative director for e15 and Bergman.
