Drawing inspiration from traditional British crafts, this piece utilises Pritchard’s signature style of bold geometric shapes and graphic patterns. To ensure that her designs represent authenticity, her entire range is manufactured solely in the UK, with weaving taking place in west Wales, the Scottish Islands and the heartland of English textiles, Lancashire. Broadchalke features an ink blue and chalk colour scheme, with a black and white marl finish.
In her own words, British textile designer Eleanor Pritchard has "always loved playing with colour and pattern. My work often has a mid-century quality and I feel a strong affinity for the aesthetics and design philosophy of this era. Alongside this runs a deep interest in vernacular British textiles and I see much of my work as a re-interpretation of these traditions and techniques for a contemporary audience.”
