Contemporary and stylish, the Flos Overlap Suspension Light diffuses a delicate glow through its fibrous, translucent exterior, whilst composing a play of shadows for a remarkable effect. Part of Flos's design identity since 1960, "Cocoon" resin is sprayed onto a thin steel structure, consisting of two circles that intertwine, resulting in a mysterious natural aesthetic. Changing shape depending on the observer's point of view, its captivating profile is sure to ignite conversation and attract onlookers.

He launched his studio in 1994 to explore contemporary notions of culture and aesthetics through a combination of product, furniture and environmental design. The studio’s philosophy is a continuous search for eclecticism, individuality, and timeless qualities in design.
Michael Anastassiades trained as a civil engineer at London’s Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine before taking a masters degree in industrial design at the Royal College of Art. He lives and works in London.
