Fascinated by the ever-changing beauty of the sky, Gino Sarfatti created a collection of lights that embody a stunning solar system of their own. Featuring a simple, yet elegant principle in which blown opaline glass spheres are held in place by painted aluminium rings, the Model 2109/16/14 Suspension Light is a luxurious versatile light source. Suitable for illuminating all kinds of large spaces, the light's distinctive profile truly captivates whilst creating an inviting ambience.
During his thirty years of activity, Gino Sarfatti designed and produced over 400 luminaires and carried out non-stop research into innovation as regards typology, materials, production technologies, light sources, technical lighting effects and design aspects.
In the course of their work, Gino Sarfatti and Arteluce won numerous prizes and awards including the Compasso d'Oro in 1954 and 1955, and the Honorary Diploma of the Milan Triennale.
