Ideal for use within a hallway, living room or bedroom, the Model 237/1 Wall Light consists of a single blown opaline glass sphere, gently held by a Black or Champagne painted aluminium ring. The light source can be moved up and down, providing direct or indirect light that can be altered to suit your specific needs. Delicate yet striking, its simple geometric profile invites the beauty of the solar system inside, paying homage to the natural poetry of the moon whilst illuminating your chosen space.
During his thirty years of activity, Gino Sarfatti designed and produced over 400 luminaires and carried out non-stop research into innovation as regards typology, materials, production technologies, light sources, technical lighting effects and design aspects.
In the course of their work, Gino Sarfatti and Arteluce won numerous prizes and awards including the Compasso d'Oro in 1954 and 1955, and the Honorary Diploma of the Milan Triennale.
