While touring the island of Shikoku and the former workshops of the influential architect and designer, George Nakashima, the collaboration found inspiration for the Koku collection.
The sculptural elements of Nakashima’s influence are evident within the bold structural base, playing with both metal and oak and contrasting the simplistic and serene tabletop. The combination of solid wood and metal allows for experimentation with dimension and proportion while retaining the structural integrity needed for a functional coffee table. A charming addition to any home, the Koku Sofa Table is available in a variety of sizes with both light and dark wood combinations.
