Designed by Marc Sadler for Foscarini, the Tress Grande Suspension Light is an eye-catching sculptural fixture, sure to captivate attention and trigger conversation. A statement piece made up of ribboned composite material, the light is made using a unique craft-based process, with the lattice-like structure allowing for an atmospheric light display to be created. Available in either black or white, the suspension light is ideal for being displayed in a bold cluster over tables in dining spaces or office environments.
A designer, he's worked a long time in the sports sector, where he's experimented with new materials and innovative production processes. Has also worked successfully in furnishing and consumer products.
He is also active in the area of teaching, and holds conferences and workshops at design schools and universities in Italy and abroad (Domus Academy, Milan Polytechnic, etc.) He has received a series of awards including: DESIGN PLUS of Frankfurt for his Apotheos shower enclosure designed for Domino-Albatros (1995).
