In 1936, German designer Christian Dell created a masterpiece of modern lighting: the KAISER idell™ 6556-T Table Lamp. Today, over 80 years later, this iconic design continues to inspire and captivate those who appreciate the perfect blend of form and function. Crafted by hand from the finest materials, the KAISER idell™ boasts a sleek and minimalist silhouette that embodies the industrial aesthetic of the era.
The adjustable arm and shade allow for easy customization of the light’s direction, while the sturdy base ensures stability on any surface. One of the hallmarks of the KAISER idell™ collection is its superior craftsmanship, each lamp is meticulously assembled and finished by hand, using time-honoured techniques that have been passed down through generations of skilled artisans.
Christian Dell was a German silversmith and designer. From 1922-25 he worked as a foreman of the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Weimar where he was the man behind a highly innovative and pioneering style of design.
