Designed by Nendo, the N01™ armchair merges Danish and Japanese aesthetics to create a versatile, pure design.
For many, the dining room is not only a place to enjoy a meal but it’s also a place to be productive, a place for conversation, a place to pause, to breathe.
Behind the Nendo trademark is Oki Sato, the Japanese designer born in Canada in 1977. Sato graduated in 2000 from Tokyo’s Waseda University and went on to specialise in Architecture (2002). While still a student, in 2002, he won the Gold Medal at the Koizumi International Lighting Design show, in addition to many other awards.
Oki Sato founded Nendo Design Studio in 2002 and has since gone on to produce contemporary designs for Cappellini, Fritz Hansen, Wastberg and Louis Poulsen.
