Defined by its high back and elegantly curved side panels, the armchair embraces the importance of privacy and secluded comfort away from the world that surrounds us. Hayon has created a piece ideal for contemporary work spaces, waiting areas and lobbies, creating a stylishly secluded area for private concentration and welcoming relaxation. Available in a range of unique colourways, the armchair is a multipurpose, durable piece that embodies practical, eye-catching design.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
