Steel base with an antique brass finish, veneer seat shell in American Walnut or Oak, upholstered in Gubi Soft Leather (dyed aniline leather). 

Care instructions
Do not store leather products in direct sunlight or near a radiator. Dust the leather products regularly. Dust and dirt are abrasive to leather. Never use solvents on leather.

Story

Visionary design duo GamFratesi has further enhanced the iconic Beetle Chair design with the addition of luxurious leather upholstery. The original design was inspired by the iridescent carapace of the humble beetle, the curved shell mimicking the insect’s natural shape. The veneer shell is available in a choice of woods, adding a prestigious touch to the design. Leather and wood combine to add rich tactility to the piece, making it the perfect addition to any dining space.

GamFratesi Studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is based in Copenhagen, though Gam and Fratesi are continuously traveling between Italy and Denmark for development and research of new projects.

Gamfratesi won the Young Designer Talent of the Year at the Elle Decoration International Design Awards 2013.
