Inspired by nature, in particular, the ingenious anatomy of insect shells, the GUBI Beetle Dining Chair features a durable profile that is designed to gently flex in response to the body’s micromovements, echoing the complex movements of a beetle. Its lightweight composition enables it to be easily moved, whilst its special additives prevent colour discolouration and weather damage, breaking down the barriers between internal and external spaces. Providing the utmost comfort, it is ideally utilised on a balcony, in a garden or upon a terrace either as a set around a dining table or as a stand-alone piece.
GUBI has redeveloped the Beetle Chair seat shell using a recycled plastic composite. Using advanced technology and customised materials comprising over 50% recycled plastic, GUBI has been able to make production significantly more responsible, while retaining the same quality and performance as virgin plastic.
