Crafted using age-old techniques in Pereira’s native Portugal, this set of two bowls showcases an understanding of the material while updating the form for modern needs.
Rui Pereira is a nomadic designer and researcher from Portugal. Having lived and worked in Valencia, Milan and Copenhagen, Pereira has developed a clear and incisive design language that results in beautiful yet functional products.
Pereira has collaborated with a variety of brands and designers, including visionary Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola and Japanese designer Ryosuke Fukusada. He currently works for Danish design powerhouse HAY as design and visual direction manager.
