Disarmingly sleek with an expansive glass top, Stefan Diez’s Boa table evidences his understanding of both form and function. The flat-pack aluminium design can be rapidly assembled and disassembled, with a lightweight frame formed from Hydro CIRCAL aluminium, incorporating a minimum of 75% post-consumer scrap in its construction.
The glass shines a spotlight on the geometric form of the base, showcasing every detail of the table’s construction. Diez took inspiration from traditional Japanese bamboo tables, putting a contemporary twist on the classic design.
Munich based German industrial designer Stefan Diez founded his studio in 2003. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Stuttgart, his products have received international acclaim, including winning the iF Gold Award and Red Dot design award. Diez takes a future facing approach to design, advocating that design should be about creating durable quality products for generations to come.
