A beautiful design that blurs the boundaries between the digital and the physical, the vase embodies a unique connection between past and present crafting methods.
A smooth, porcelain structure, with intricate grooves that complement the curvaceous, sculptural shape, the design has been finished with two openings that allow for the elegant display of your favourite flower stems or dried grasses. With a natural, light-beige colouring, the vase’s timeless design can perch in an array of locations around the home, whether used as an artistic decoration on a shelf or as a centrepiece on a dining table.
Wang & Soderstrom is a Copenhagen based design studio made up of Swedish designer Anny Wang and architect Tim Söderström.
Constantly trying to challenge the boundaries between art and design, Wang & Soderstrom want to throw out pre-existing design conventions. The studio works to put emphasis on the emotional and tactile side of materials, objects and textures to give the digital a more human-relatable quality and create more meaningful connections.
