Based on a simple layering principal, Depping & Jørgensen have created a flexible and multifunctional range of shelve units and tables using cast aluminium leg modules with powder-coated MDF square, round or rectangular plates in different sizes. The shelving systems and tables are available in diverse colours, heights and shapes, making them suitable for use in a wide range of private and public contexts.
Line Depping and Jakob Jorgensen graduated as furniture designers from the Danish School of Design in 2008. Both have received recognition for their furniture designs in international competitions, Depping with the first prize in the Premio Vico Magistretti of 2007 and Jorgen was awarded the Gold Leaf during the International Furniture Design Competition of 2008.
In order to inspire each other, they work on their designs separately, only coming together to solve practical problems in the design process. Their designs explore the possibilities of wood, the combination of different materials and the re-imagining of the functions of furniture.
They have been designing for Danish collective HAY since 2012.
