Crafted from either oak or beech, the J21 has an uncluttered design that can adapt over time with an array of different interior styles. Mogensen intended to create a furniture series that linked industrial production with beautiful architectural furniture design; FBD revolutionised the industry as a precursor of many of the design icons that Denmark is acknowledged for today around the world. The chair’s slightly slanted backrest and widely-spaced spindles create a seat of the utmost comfort, perfect for acting as a dining chair or desk chair.
Also available in the HAY J series, the J110, J104, J42 and J77 chairs and a comforting Seat Cushion.
