Durable yet elegant, the Palissade Low Table is crafted from steel and features a square-slatted tabletop upon low-profile legs. A weather-resistant powder-coating ensures the table is low-maintenance and hard-wearing, whilst also allowing the table to patina and gain further character over the years.
The minimal design complements both urban and rural outdoor environments, ideal for balconies, terraces, patios and gardens as a surface to place a drink or a book on a warm summer’s evening.
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Breton-born brothers, are the stars of European design and the most promising industrial designers to have emerged from France since Philippe Starck in the 1980s.
A combination of romanticism and functionality runs throughout both brothers’ work. Like all truly talented designers, the Bouroullecs have defined a distinctive visual style, which Jasper Morrison (one of the designers they most admire) described as “thoughtful and disciplined, with a real spirit and poetry”.
