Story

Made from durable and absorbent organic cotton, the disarming minimalism of the HAY Ram Place Mat uses geometric shapes to create a powerful visual effect. The name is derived from the word for ‘frame’ in Serbian, referring to the arrangement of the coloured elements, with a large rectangular block framed by a contrasting colour on the border. Whether used as a matching set or mixed together, the Ram is perfectly suited to a wide range of dining spaces.

Ana Kras

Born in Belgrade, Serbia, Ana Kras studied furniture design and interior architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Belgrade.

In 2013, she moved to New York, where she has continued pursuing various projects in the fields of object design, art, photography, and fashion.
