One of the most evocative pieces of the Modernist era, the Knoll Studio Saarinen Tulip Table is available in a wide range of high-quality marble tops. The naturally occurring veins running through the marble ensure that each table carries a unique pattern, while the instantly recognisable silhouette is guaranteed to bring any space to life. Choose from a black or white base and gather a collection of Tulip Chairs around for the perfect dining experience.
You can learn more about this design icon on our Journal, while each table includes a forty-page booklet detailing the history and legacy of Saarinen’s creation.
Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen (1910-1961) was incredibly influential in shaping the postwar American modern design movement. Born in Finland Eero Saarinen was the son of architect Eliel Saarinen, one of the founders of the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
Saarinen is best known for designing the Tulip dining table and tulip chairs as well as the Organic chair which he designed in collaboration with Charles Eames in 1940.
