Taken from the Latin for ‘to highlight’, the Caleo 3 Pendant Light features an intricate, pleated paper shade. Once illuminated, each fold, pleat and gather is emphasised, highlighting the complex, sculptural nature of the piece.
Integral to the Le Klint brand, the light’s iconic cross pleating is expertly handcrafted in Odense, Denmark, using the same traditional techniques since the brand’s creation in the 1940s. Boasting a striking, yet elegant aesthetic, the Caleo emits a soft, ambient glow as light diffuses from the delicate paper surface.

In 2019, Rikke Frost took part in the TV programme ‘Denmark’s Next Classic’. It was as part of this TV programme that Frost created the Sideways Sofa in just three short weeks and her design went on to win in its category. She has also won and been nominated for several awards, including the Danish Design Award and Bolig Magasinets Design Award.
