Inspired by an exploration of mid-century churches, designer Lee Broom was influenced by the warm raw materials, angular shapes and exposed structures of altars, fonts and pews. The Altar 4 Pendant Light Tall is crafted from solid oak into a grooved, fluted form, illuminated by several elegant tubes positioned into the architectural grooves.
Creating an ambient glow within your living space when lit, the Altar 4 is equally as warm and inviting when switched off, owing to the use of characterful natural oak. Suspended by a single, subtle cable, the Altar 4 is a captivating statement piece when placed over a dining table, or low above a coffee table to gently illuminate your living space.
Lee Broom founded his eponymous design company in 2007 and has since gone on to become one of the UK’s leading interior and product designers.
In 2007 he launched his first furniture collection ‘Neo Neon‘ to critical acclaim and has launched a new collection each year since selling to London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong and The Middle East. Lee Broom’s work has featured in most major broadsheet and interior design publications.
