Launching in 2005, the captivating design of the Caravaggio™ quickly became known as a modern design icon. With undeniable ease, Manz creates a pleasant balance between masculinity and femininity. The rigid materials are sculpted and shaped into soft, elegant lines that help direct the glow of the light without causing glare. Named after the Italian Baroque painter Caravaggio, known for dramatic paintings with prominence on light and dark, the Caravaggio™ helps to illuminate everyday interiors with a fresh, modern expression.
Available in a range of colourways, the pendant light complements a variety of settings and aesthetics.
Cecilie Manz was born in the Odsherred region of Denmark. As the child of parents occupied with art and design, designing always formed a natural part of her life. In 1998, a year after she graduated from the Danish School of Design she started her own studio, Manz Lab, the centre of her work ever since.
