British industrial designer Ross Lovegrove graduated from Manchester Polytechnic with an Industrial Design degree in 1980 and gained a Master of Design from the Royal College of Art, London in 1983.
Winner of numerous international design awards, his work has been extensively published and exhibited internationally including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Design Museum in London, when in 1993 he was curator of the first Permanent Collection.
