Sophisticated and daring, Slaatto wanted to create a pendant that was ‘a three-dimensional Sudoku .. an extremely mathematical assignment’. Carefully positioned cells emit different disparities of the light source, from a diffused soft glow at the top down to direct light from the bottom; bringing a glowing focal point and a soft, dynamic illumination to contemporary spaces.
Whether used individually or in a dynamic cluster, the beautiful spherical form is simultaneously both calming and dazzling; creating a sense of magic that replicates looking up at a starry night sky. Also available is the Louis Poulsen Patera Pendant - Oval.
