Fukasawa approaches the essential value of things through his designs. In the Magis Substance Chair - Wood Base, he has explored the simple cross-junction of two U-shaped legs, which he then combined with a minimalist polypropylene shell. The curves of seat and legs blend together harmoniously, giving the design a fresh quality, enhanced by the muted colour palette.
