The Magis Traffic_2 Two Seater Sofa shares a design heritage with the rest of the Traffic_2 collection, typified by a tubular metal frame and a landscape of interwoven geometries that support the sumptuous cushions. The angular frame remains functional and stylish, enhanced by the addition of foam cushions upholstered in Kvadrat Coda fabric.
German industrial designer Konstantin Grcic was born in Munich, Germany in 1965. After training as a cabinet maker at Parnham College in the UK he studied design at the Royal College of Art in London from 1988-1990. Since setting up his own design practice KONSTANTIN GRCIC INDUSTRIAL DESIGN (KGID) in Munich in 1991 he has developed contemporary furniture, products and designer lighting for international design brands such as Magis, Flos and Vitra.
Konstantin Grcic's most iconic and versatile designs include the Magis Chair One which can be used both indoors and out and the May Day Utility Lamp designed for Flos.
